Steaua Bucareste move on to the next round of Europe Conference League [Qualifiers]

Steaua Bucareste overcame FC Saburtalo in a fantastic win on Thursday, 4x2, in a match relating of the Europe Conference League [Qualifiers]. Lasha Nozadze's team beat Anton Petrea's team, 1x0, in the first leg of the tie.

Shortly before the interval, Joyskim Dawa opened the scoring for Steaua Bucareste, assisted by Andrei Cordea.

In the 55th minute, Anton Petrea's team extended their lead with a goal from Malcom Edjouma. After 69 minutes, Irakli Sikharulidze struck for FC Saburtalo, laid on by Levan Nonikashvili. Lasha Nozadze's team scored their second goal of the game through Iuri Tabatadze, with 78 minutes on the clock. After 80 minutes, Florin Coman fired home for București's team. In the 87th minute, Risto Radunovic netted the final goal of the game, from the penalty spot. With 90 minutes already on the clock, Andrei Cordea left the game early after seeing a red card.

With this result, Steaua Bucareste are into the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, București's team will play away against FC DAC 1904.
