Chivas get the better of Pumas

Chivas overcame Pumas in a win on Saturday, 3x1, in a game related to matchweek 11 of México Apertura. To this matchday, Guadalajara's team came from two wins, and Ciudad de México's team came from a draw.

After 3 minutes, Diogo opened the scoring for Pumas, assisted by Juan Dinenno. With 15 minutes on the clock, Jesús Orozco struck for Chivas, laid on by Alexis Vega. With 38 minutes on the clock, forward fired home Ricardo Cadena's team second goal. In the 40th minute, Ángel Zaldívar wrapped things up.

After the result Chivas are 11th in the table, with 12 points, while Pumas sit 17th place, with 8 points. In the next fixture, Guadalajara's team will play away against Toluca, whilst Ciudad de México's team visit Atlas.
