Phoenix Rising defeated NY Red Bulls Reservas in a fantastic win on Saturday, 5x1, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the USL Championship. JJ Williams made a tremendous game.
The opening goal was scored by Gabriel Torres after 2 minutes. In the 23rd minute, Phoenix Rising increased their lead with a goal from Aodhan Quinn from the penalty spot.
With 50 minutes on the clock, NY Red Bulls Reservas saw Michael Knapp get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. In the 73rd minute, Baboucarr Njie doubled the lead for Tempe, Arizona's team. In the 84th minute, Juan Guerra's team extended their lead with a goal from Richmond Antwi. In the final minutes of the game, Jordan Adebayo-Smith fired home for Harrison, NJ's team. After 90 minutes, JJ Williams wrapped things up, assisted by Joey Calistri.
In the next fixture, Phoenix Rising visit Rio Grande Valley, whilst NY Red Bulls Reservas will play away against Memphis 901.
