Getafe stumble to defeat against Valladolid

Valladolid overcame Getafe in a close win on Saturday, 2x3, on matchday 7. To this matchweek, Quique Flores's team came from two wins, and Pacheta's team came from two defeats. Sergio León made a tremendous game.

Sergio León opened the score after 20 minutes, from the penalty spot. In the 29th minute, Borja Mayoral fired home for Getafe, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box, fashioned by Mauro Arambarri. Quique Flores's team scored their second goal of the game through Damián Suárez, after 31 minutes, with a right-foot shot, set up by Domingos Duarte. With 37 minutes on the clock, Sergio León fired home Valladolid second goal, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box, which followed great work by Kike Pérez .

Óscar Plano scored the winning goal after the break with a left-foot shot.

After the result Valladolid are 14th in the table, with 7 points, while Getafe sit 15th place, with 7 points. Next up, Pacheta's team will play at home against Real Betis, whilst Quique Flores's team will play at home against Real Madrid.
