The first goal of the game was scored by Julián Álvarez, after 16 minutes. With 26 minutes on the clock, Manchester City saw João Cancelo get a straight red card in the 28th minute, Andreas Pereira fired home for Fulham, from the penalty spot.
Erling Haaland scored the winning goal in time added on from the penalty spot.
After the result Manchester City are 1st in the table, with 32 points, while Fulham sit 8th place, with 19 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Pep Guardiola's team will play at home against Brentford, whilst Marco Silva's team will host Manchester United.
