Sivasspor get the better of Trabzonspor

Sivasspor edged out Trabzonspor, 4x1, on Thursday, on to matchday 30 of the Turkey Super Lig. To this matchweek, Riza Calimbay's team came from a defeat, and Nenad Bjelica's team came from a draw. Samuel Sáiz made a tremendous game.

Lazar Markovic opened the score in the 11th minute. After 22 minutes, Trabzonspor saw Stryger Larsen get a straight red card with 27 minutes on the clock, Samuel Sáiz fired home for Sivasspor, from the penalty spot. After 37 minutes, Erdogan Yesilyurt struck the second goal for Riza Calimbay's team.

After 58 minutes, Samuel Sáiz doubled the lead for Sivasspor. Jordy Caicedo netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game.

After the result Trabzonspor are 6th in the table, with 45 points, while Sivasspor sit 10th place, with 34 points. In the next fixture, Riza Calimbay's team visit Antalyaspor. Meanwhile, Nenad Bjelica's team visit Konyaspor.
