Al-Ittihad Jeddah edged out Olmaliq FK, 3x0, on Monday, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the AFC Champions League. Both Nuno Espírito Santo's team and Mirdjalal Kasimov's team held their first game in the competition. Romarinho runned the show.
The opening goal was scored by Haroune Camara with 11 minutes on the clock. Al-Ittihad Jeddah scored their second goal of the game through Romarinho, after 15 minutes. Forward netted the last goal shortly before the interval from the penalty spot. With this goal, forward recorded his five goal of the current campaign.
