Torreense overcame CD Tondela, 1x2, on Sunday, on to matchday 9 of the Portuguese Division Two. Coming into the contest, Tozé Marreco's team came from a draw, and Rui Ferreira's team came from a defeat.

Patrick Fernandes netted the last goal after 73 minutes with a left-foot shot inside the penalty box.
