Al-Wehda overcame Al-Riyadh, 3x1, on Sunday, in a game relating to matchweek 18. Coming into the contest, Giorgos Donis's team came from a defeat, and Odair Hellmann 's team came from two defeats.
With 36 minutes on the clock, Jawad El Yamiq opened the scoring for Al-Wehda.
Giorgos Donis's team scored their second goal of the game through Craig Goodwin, in the 82nd minute. In the final minutes of the game, Saleh Al Abbas fired home for Al-Riyadh. Odion Ighalo netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game from the penalty spot. With this goal, Odion Ighalo recorded his ten goal of the current campaign.
