FC Utrecht cruise past Excelsior

FC Utrecht edged out Excelsior in a win on Sunday, 1-4, in a game relating to matchweek 18. Coming into the contest, Richard Mank's team came from two defeats, and FC Utrecht came from a defeat.

After 23 minutes, Sam de Jong opened the scoring for FC Utrecht. In the 29th minute, Eshly Bakker fired home FC Utrecht second goal, from the penalty spot. Shortly before the interval, Sabrine Ellouzi struck for Excelsior.

After 68 minutes, FC Utrecht increased their lead with a goal from Nurija van Schoonhoven. In the 70th minute, Tami Groenendijk scored the last goal of the match.
