Cobreloa get the better of Colo-Colo

Cobreloa defeated Colo-Colo, 0-2, on Monday, on to matchday 8 of the Liga Chilena. In this competition, Jorge Almirón's team came from a defeat, and Emiliano Astorga's team came from two defeats.

The opening goal was scored by Cristian Insaurralde after 27 minutes. Shortly before the interval, Cobreloa saw forward get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.

Gastón Rodriguez netted the last goal in the 67th minute. In the final minutes of the game, Colo-Colo saw Brayan Cortés get a straight red card in the closing stages of the game, Rodolfo González left the game early after seeing a red card.

After the result Cobreloa are 5th in the table, with 13 points, while Colo-Colo sit 10th place, with 10 points. In the next fixture, Emiliano Astorga's team will play at home against Audax Italiano. Meanwhile, Jorge Almirón's team will play away against Univ. Católica.
