Necaxa lose out to Tigres

Tigres overcame Necaxa, 5-2, on Saturday, in a game relating to matchweek 16. Coming into the contest, Robert Siboldi's team came from a draw, and Eduardo Fentanes's team came from two wins. Marcelo Flores runned the show.

The first goal was scored by Braian Samudio with 33 minutes on the clock.

With 51 minutes on the clock, André-Pierre Gignac fired home for Tigres. After 54 minutes, Ozziel Herrera struck the second goal for Robert Siboldi's team. With 59 minutes on the clock, Tigres extended their lead with a goal from Marcelo Flores. After 62 minutes, midfielder doubled the lead for Robert Siboldi's team. Marcelo Flores completed the hat-trick, with 69 minutes on the clock. Alejandro Andrade netted the last goal in the 73rd minute.

After the result Tigres are 5th in the table, with 28 points, while Necaxa sit 8th place, with 27 points. With regard to the next fixture, Robert Siboldi's team will host Club Tijuana, whilst Eduardo Fentanes's team will play at home against Monterrey.
