LASK Linz lose out to Liverpool

Liverpool overcame LASK Linz in a win on Thursday, 1x3, in a match relating to the Grp.E of the Europa League. Both Thomas Sageder's team and Jürgen Klopp's team played their first game in the competition.

With 14 minutes on the clock, Florian Flecker opened the scoring for LASK Linz.

In the 56th minute, Darwin Núñez struck for Liverpool, from the penalty spot. In the 63rd minute, Luis Díaz fired home Jürgen Klopp's team second goal. In the closing stages of the game, Mohamed Salah scored the last goal of the match.

With regard to the next fixture, Liverpool will host Union St. Gilloise, while LASK Linz will play away against Toulouse.
