Al Ittihad Kalba humbled on home turf by Al Bataeh

Al Bataeh beat Al Ittihad Kalba in a close win on Thursday, 1-2, on matchday 15. Coming into the contest, Farhad Majidi's team came from a defeat, and Goran Tomic's team came from two defeats. Anatole Abang made a tremendous game.

The first goal of the game was scored by Mehdi Ghaedi, after 38 minutes. With 45 minutes on the clock, Anatole Abang fired home for Al Bataeh.

Forward netted the last goal after 63 minutes. With this goal, forward recorded his five goal of the current campaign.

After the result Al Bataeh are 8th in the table, with 19 points, while Al Ittihad Kalba sit 12th place, with 13 points. In the next fixture, Goran Tomic's team will play away against Emirates Club, whilst Farhad Majidi's team visit Al Jazira.
