Alashkert FC emerge victorious against Ararat Yerevan

Alashkert FC triumphed over Ararat Yerevan, 2-1, on Saturday, relating to matchweek 26 of the Armenian League. To this matchweek, Vahe Gevorgyan's team came from three defeats, and Tigran Yesayan's team came from a win. Gustavo Marmentini was the main player.

In the 27th minute, Gustavo Marmentini opened the scoring for Alashkert FC. After 39 minutes, midfielder struck the second goal for Vahe Gevorgyan's team, from the penalty spot.

Ramses Nguimzeu netted the last goal with 70 minutes on the clock. In stoppage time, Alashkert FC saw Artur Sokhiev get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.

After the result Alashkert FC are 5th in the table, with 38 points, while Ararat Yerevan sit 6th place, with 33 points. With regard to the next fixture, Vahe Gevorgyan's team visit FC Ararat-Armenia. Meanwhile, Tigran Yesayan's team will play at home against Urartu.
