Aris overcame Lamia, 3-1, on Sunday, on matchday 2. Coming into the contest, Apostolos Mantzios's team came from a win, and Leonidas Vokolos's team came from four defeats. In the starting XI there was Caleb Stanko.

The opening goal was scored by Shapi Suleymanov in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Aris increased their lead with a goal from Manu García. After 59 minutes, Jakub Brabec doubled the lead for Apostolos Mantzios's team. In the final minutes of the game, Vasilis Kontonikos scored the last goal of the match.
