Cosmos overcame San Giovanni in a win on Tuesday, 0-3, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the Liga São Marino. San Giovanni beat Nicola Berardi's team, 2-1, in the first leg of the tie.
The first half came to an end without goals.
Filippo Berardi opened the score after 78 minutes, from the penalty spot. With 85 minutes on the clock, Mattia Aprea saw a red card after receiving his second yellow in the closing stages of the game, Alessandro D´Addario struck the second goal for Cosmos. Riccardo Zulli netted the last goal in time added on.
With this result, Cosmos are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Nicola Berardi's team will host Tre Penne.
