Emelec lose out to Aucas

Aucas triumphed over Emelec in a win on Friday, 3-1, on matchday 9. Coming into the contest, Gerardo Espinoza's team came from a draw, and Hernán Torres's team came from a win. Luis Cano made a tremendous game.

The opening goal was scored by Jeison Medina after 21 minutes. Jeison Medina now on a scoring streak of 4 consecutive games. In the 27th minute, Luis Cano struck the second goal for Aucas, from the penalty spot. With 36 minutes on the clock, Gerardo Espinoza's team extended their lead with a goal from midfielder.
