Montpellier triumphed over Nice, 1-2, on Friday, on to matchday 25 of the Ligue 1. To this matchweek, Francesco Farioli's team came from a defeat, and Michel Der Zakarian's team came from a draw.
In an unfortunate moment Jean-Clair Todibo scored an own goal after 10 minutes. In the 12th minute, Jérémie Boga fired home for Nice. Téji Savanier scored the winner shortly before the interval from the penalty spot.
After the result Nice are 5th in the table, with 40 points, while Montpellier sit 12th place, with 26 points. In their next fixture, Michel Der Zakarian's team will host Paris SG, whilst Francesco Farioli's team visit Lens.
