Toronto Atomic FC vs York Region Shooters

Toronto Atomic FC and York Region Shooters played to a scoreless tie in the only game played in the Canadian Soccer League Saturday night. There were few opportunities to find the net with either team – York Region at the top of the First Division and Toronto Atomic a distant second – with most of the play in midfield, the game played at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke. Referee Milomir Tomic showed the red card to Atomic midfielder Tolochko Ostap at 84 minutes for a foul he considered to be a Violent Conduct infringement on Shooters’ forward Richard Edwards.
