Real Sociedad stumble to defeat against Villarreal

Villarreal triumphed over Real Sociedad, 2x0, on Sunday, on to matchday 27 of the La Liga. In this competition, both teams came from a win.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The first goal of the game was scored by Dani Parejo, from the penalty spot, after 77 minutes. Nicolas Jackson netted the last goal in the 81st minute. After seeing his second yellow card in stoppage time, forward was sent off and left Villarreal with 10-man.

After the result Real Sociedad are 4th in the table, with 48 points, while Villarreal sit 6th place, with 44 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Quique Setién's team will play away against Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Imanol Alguacil's team will host Getafe.
