Farense defeat FC Porto B

Farense edged out FC Porto B in a win on Sunday, 2x0, on to matchday 31 of the Portuguese Division Two. To this matchday, José Mota's team came from four wins, and the Dragões came from two draws.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The opening goal was scored by Mattheus Oliveira after 51 minutes, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty box. Rui Costa netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game from the penalty spot.

After the result Farense are 2nd in the table, with 60 points, while FC Porto B sit 8th place, with 42 points. With regard to the next fixture, José Mota's team will play away against Nacional, while António Folha's team will play at home against Académico de Viseu.
