Anderlecht defeated Katowice in a fantastic win on Wednesday, 5x0, in a match relating of the Women Champions League. Both Dave Mattheus's team and Karolina Koch's team held their first game in the competition.
The first goal of the game was scored by Stefania Vatafu, after 17 minutes. With 36 minutes on the clock, Esther Buabadi fired home Anderlecht second goal. After 39 minutes, Dave Mattheus's team extended their lead with a goal from Tine De Caigny. Shortly before the interval, Anderlecht increased their lead with a goal from Lore Jacobs.
Sakina Ouzraoui netted the last goal with 90 minutes already on the clock.
Thanks to this result, Anderlecht are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Dave Mattheus's team will play against Brann. Meanwhile, Katowice visit Loko Stara Zagora.
