U18 Premier League: Newcastle lose out to Manchester City

Manchester City edged out Newcastle, 4x2, on Wednesday, relating to matchweek 9 of the U18 Premier League. To this matchweek, Ben Wilkinson's team came from three wins, and Graeme Carrick's team came from two defeats. Luca Fletcher was the main player.

Luca Fletcher opened the score after 21 minutes. Shortly before the interval, Manchester City extended their lead with a goal from forward.

With 64 minutes on the clock, Alfie Harrison fired home for Newcastle. After 68 minutes, Darren Palmer scored the second goal for Graeme Carrick's team. After 80 minutes, Ashton Muir struck for Ben Wilkinson's team. In the closing stages of the game, Matthew Warhurst netted the final goal of the game.
