Seattle Sounders defeated CF Montréal in a superb win on Saturday, 5-0, in a match relating to the Grp.East of the MLS. Raúl Ruidíaz runned the show.
The opening goal was scored by Raúl Ruidíaz after 20 minutes. In the 27th minute, forward doubled the lead for Seattle Sounders, from the penalty spot.
After the break, Brian Schmetzer's team extended their lead with a goal from Jordan Morris. After 53 minutes, CF Montréal saw Nathan Saliba get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. With 81 minutes on the clock, Seattle Sounders increased their lead with a goal from Alex Roldán. In the final minutes of the game, George Campbell saw a red card after receiving his second yellow in stoppage time, Dylan Teves netted the final goal of the game.
With regard to the next fixture, Seattle Sounders visit FC Dallas. Meanwhile, CF Montréal will host FC Cincinnati.
