Athletic Bilbao defeated Atlético de Madrid in a win on Thursday, 3x0, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. Ernesto Valverde's team beat Diego Simeone's team, 1x0, in the first leg of the tie.
The first goal was scored by Iñaki Williams with 13 minutes on the clock. Shortly before the interval, Athletic Bilbao extended their lead with a goal from Nico Williams .
Gorka Guruzeta netted the last goal in the 61st minute.
