Marítimo run out winners versus UD Leiria

Marítimo triumphed over UD Leiria in a win on Saturday, 2-0, on matchweek 26. In this competition, both teams came from a win.

In the 25th minute, Pawel Kieszek left the game early after seeing a red card. The first goal of the game was scored by Euller Silva, from a direct free kick, in the 29th minute.

Higor Platiny netted the last goal with 69 minutes on the clock with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area.

After the result Marítimo are 4th in the table, with 48 points, while UD Leiria sit 12th place, with 31 points. With regard to the next fixture, Fábio Pereira's team will play at home against Leixões, whilst Vasco Botelho da Costa's team will host Nacional.
