Sadio Mané opened the score after 51 minutes, through a header. Mohamed Salah netted the last goal with 53 minutes on the clock with a left-foot strike from outside the penalty box.
After the result Liverpool are 2nd in the table, with 85 points, while Chelsea sit 5th place, with 66 points. Next up, Jürgen Klopp's team will play away against Cardiff City, whilst the blues will host Burnley.
